main goal:
Create a common code base from which to build unikernels, and develop tools that will make the creation of such unikernels as easy as compiling an app for an existing OS. The project applies the unikernel toolchain in four main scenarios: Serverless computing: lambda services, Network Function Virtualization, Home automation / IoT, Smart contracts.
nextworks role:
Integrate and apply the Unicore tools to package and deploy in unikernels relevant services of the home/building automation platform developed by NXW, with specific focus on the automation of the deployment procedures and the verification of the end-to-end service performance and scalability.
