main goal:
Aims at connecting human, physical, and digital worlds with a fabric of 6G enablers like connected intelligence, networks of networks, sustainability, global service coverage, extreme experience, and trustworthiness. Hexa-x targets: i) new radio access technologies at high frequencies and high-resolution localization and sensing, ii) connected intelligence through AI-driven air interface and governance for future networks, and iii) 6G architectural enablers for network disaggregation and dynamic dependability.
nextworks role:
Design and implementation of management and orchestration solutions for 6G networks, including end-to-end network slicing with cloud-native functions, integrated control of extreme edge resources, orchestration of AI functions, prediction-based network optimization and automated network configuration based on service intents.
