main goal:
5GaaS is a FTI project that aims at creating and launching a new product in the form of a decentralised marketplace for the telecom ecosystem. The new platform provides three major components: i) a centralised marketplace for site leasing and tenant management, ii) an interoperable, standards-based and software-focused implementation of 5G networks, and iii) an automated 5G network slicing engine for Neutral Hosts.
nextworks role:
Provide and integrate a Vertical-oriented platform for performing the service-driven provisioning of network slices and a monitoring framework for a data-driven service adaptation at run-time.
